Donna began her art education at American River College in Sacramento, California. She studied with Auburn artist Carol Kooi and Sacramento potter, Linnell Barnhart. She also studied at Sierra College and has taken many workshops. Whenever she heard that an artist she admired was sharing their experience and skill she applied herself to their lessons.
Donna is a member of The Arts Council of Placer County, Roseville Council of Arts, Lincoln Arts Council and She is a logophile and her hobbies include tournament Scrabble. Since her retirement in 1996 she has concentrated on developing her craft and skill as a clay artist. Sacramento Potters Group. She has participated in shows at Lincoln Arts, The Ridley Gallery, Sierra College, Sacramento Fine Arts, College of the Pacific in Stockton, Four Seasons Gallery in Wrightwood, Ca. and Blooming Arts Gallery in Sacramento, Ca.
