Leslie Laurent's pottery is thrown or hand built in her Sierra Nevada foothills studio. Her colorful pots begin with a stoneware clay, are decorated with glazes she mixes herself and fired in an electric kiln to 2200F. The flowers and animals from her rural neighborhood are frequently represented in her work.
