Carol Bellamy uses one line of wire to
translate her initial sketch into its wire
counterpart. The finished work takes
on a unique interpretation of the
drawing, plus a little whimsy. Nature
inspires here and she has a fondneww
for animals, so a lot of her work
features them But she also likes the
feeling of motion wire gives to a piece,
so she has been known to replicate
inorganic images as well, such as
bicycles and cars. The length of wire
for one piece can range from 3 to
more than 350 feet. She welcomes
commissioned work.

Finding and recording artistic moments
in nature has been the goal of my
photography for more than half a century.
A rock, a flower, a reflection - each
becomes something worthy of being
seen again when captured by my
camera. Art is indeed where you find it.
My work can also be seen at The Avid
Reader Bookstores (Sacramento and
Davis), and The Sea Ranch Village
Store.
I annually exhibit at The Davis Art Center
Holiday Sale during the first weekend in
December.

Making beautiful glass art is my
passion-whether fused, leaded, foiled,
or sand-carved. Jewelry, pictures in
glass, and table art are part of my
work. When traveling, I take crochet
hooks, knitting needles, and yarn to
make boas, bags for felting, and other
fiber-art items. I love being busy and
learn new things-I want to try everything
creative. My studio is located in Citrus
Heights, California, and I offer classes,
studio and kiln time. Contact me at

Darlene Becker creates contemporary
jewelry in silver and gold using
unusual gemstones and minerals.
After working for over 20 years in the
logical world of computers she found
her creative outlet when she began a
Silver smith class. The discovery
literally changed her life. Now on her
new path, Darlene exclaims, "I don't
know where it will take me, but I have
found my passion!" Darlene's designs
are exhibited in many shows and
competitions across Northern
California.

Creating vibrant floral watercolor
paintings is my passion. After 32 years
teaching performing arts I recently retired
and decided to begin the next exciting
phase of my life as an artist.
It is my goal to capture the unique
beauty of flowers around me. My
paintings are all about the color. I often
layer the paint many times to create
depth in the watercolor.
Basically, I am hoping to take a space
and make it lovely. How wonderful it is to
create something that makes people
smile.
