Photography

My adventure with photography began in 2010 when I received a Nikon 7000 for my birthday. With so many unfamiliar buttons, I had to take a class just to learn how to use the camera. I was very fortunate to wind up in a class where the emphasis was on the art of photography and not simply “how to use a camera”. Shortly thereafter I joined the Sacramento Photography Group. I have enjoyed meeting many new friends in this group and have benefited greatly from their support and generous sharing of ideas and techniques.

 

 

 

I enjoy photographing all types of subjects, but I particularly like abstracts.  Photography is a way for me to slow down, capture and share some of the sights we sometimes miss in our busy daily routines.
