A lifelong artist, Deidre studied fine arts at the University of New Mexico.   She moved to los Angeles where she received a degree in graphic design. In her graphics career, she worked with ad and marketing firms to create logos, illustrations, wine labels and other pieces for companies such as Kawasaki, Proctor and Gamble, Bank of America, The American Heart Association among many others.

Her mediums include bronze sculptures, resin sculptures, etchings, pastels, acrylics and watercolor and her newest medium is her own invention, called TorchArt on metal where she literally paints with a torch.

Her most recent exhibit 'Holding onto Freedom was shown at the Kennedy Gallery in May 2018 and then moved to ACG. This exhibit created a 'stir' with Deidre's bold statements about recent events in the U.S.
